Viatran's small and rugged Model 571 pressure transmitter is designed for accurate and stable measurement of medium to high pressures. A sealed gauge (PSIS) or absolute (PSIA) pressure reference is available.
Compact and completely sealed, the Model 571 is designed to withstand harsh atmospheres and submersion to 100 feet. All welded construction and the use of 316 stainless steel makes the 571 airtight, watertight, and ideal for corrosive environments. The "O" Ring free design simplifies the transmitter and ensures reliability.
Model 571 qualifies for CSA and FM explosion proof type rating, as well as the CENELEC (NEMKO) flameproof approval. The 571 has also been approved by FM as intrinsically safe (entity).
External zero, span, and calibration controls are hermetically sealed, yet easily adjusted by means of Viatran's unique magnetically-coupled drive system. The signal conditioner in the 571 allows for 5:1 ranging of the transmitter's standard pressure range.
A special feature of this transmitter is a calibration circuit that permits setup and ranging in the field - without the need for a calibrated pressure source.
