The mini-Buck¢â Calibrators are microprocessor-controlled and provide accurate
The mini-Buck¢â Calibrators are microprocessor-controlled and provide accurate and instant readout of flow rate. Since the flow rate is calculated electronically, accurate measurements at any altitude are possible within ¡¾0.5%. With the soap film solution contained in a spill-resistant flow cell, the mini-Buck is portable for field operation and ready to use with just a push of a button.

The mini-Buck Calibrators use an established and highly accurate method to measure th flow rate of air sampling pumps. The calibrator is connected to the pump or other flow device by tubing. When the flow is activated, a thin soap film travels upward within a small, precision flow cell. As the soap film passes two infrared sensors, the time spent between the sensors is fed to a microprocessor, which uses this data to calculate the flow rate.

The mini-Buck¢â Primary Flow Calibrator is more than a calibrator for vacuum and pressure sampling pumps. It's also suitable for verifying rotameters, setting instrument flow panels, and calibrating gas chromatographs and other analytical instrumentation.
