OHAUS® NV8100 PORTABLE ELECTRONIC BALANCE

This highly versatile balance offers the advantages of portability without sacrificing powerful performance. This model has a weighing range from 0-8100 g. It features 12 weighing units plus a parts counting mode. Ideal for lab functions such as parts counting, checkweighing and more.

The NV8100 uses microprocessor electronics to make each job simple. User interface with 4 cursor keys makes setup simple. Straightforward menus and prompts easily guide you through the process. Full-range taring is available at the touch of a button. All weight readings and text messages are quickly displayed on the 2"H (50 mm) high-contrast LCD. An error indicator identifies over/under loads.

This balance is programmed to provide readouts in grams, milligrams, lbs, oz, carats, pennyweights, troy ounces, taels, ticals, mommes, grains, and newtons. You can also add a custom weighing unit specific to your application.

The NV8100 is lightweight and compact for easy transport. With a spill gutter to direct liquids off the balance and a sealed front panel, it is built to withstand harsh conditions. Selective vibration filtering is used to provide a stable display. Autozero tracking minimizes drift. And, units come standard with an RS-232 bi-directional interface for connection to a computer.

The NV8100 operates on 8 "AA" batteries (not included). Each model is supplied with an AC power adaptor. Other standard features include stainless steel weighing pan and a windshield that protects pan and blocks air currents to ensure stable results.

**The NV8100 also has the InCal feature which automatically senses ambient temperature changes and alerts you when calibration is required-assuring you of a balance that is always accurate.
