AccelRate3D - Triaxial Accelerometer and Gyro
The AccelRate3D Sensor is the world’s smallest analog inertial measurement unit, providing outputs of triaxial acceleration and triaxial angular rate (gyro). AcceleRate3D product suite is capable of sensing between 150 - 1200 °/s angular rate and 2 - 5g acceleration about 3 axes. AccelRate3D provides analog outputs for angular rate, acceleration and precision references about the X, Y, and Z-axes. A temperature output is also provided allowing the implementation of compensation techniques. A digital self-test input electromechanically excites each axis to test proper operation of the sensors and the signal conditioning circuits. The AccelRate3D based on MEMS technology and is available in a custom 44-pin SMT package measuring 0.7 × 0.7 × 0.4 in.
