GE Druck DPI 610/615LP

Portable low pressure calibrators

¡¡
GE Druck DPI 610/615LP
¡¡
Druck DPI 610/615 LP series of pressure calibrators incorporates a precision low pressure sensor and pneumatic generation to provide a fully self-contained, portable low pressure calibrator.

The key to the simple operation of the pressure calibrators from the DPI 610/615 LP series is the task menu. The P-I task sets the calibrator to source pressure and measure mA, and the P-Display task allows indicator readings to be manually entered and recorded, for example, when checking devices such as Magnehelic gauges.

At low differential pressures, even connecting the device under test can induce significant pressure. To compensate for this, these pressure calibrators have an "auto zero" facility, which uses an internal solenoid valve to equalize the differential pressure prior to zero correction.

The DPI 610 LP pressure calibrator has data storage and RS232 interface. Data can be transferred directly from the DPI 610 LP to a computer for analysis, certificate printing, and archiving. The DPI 615 LP pressure calibrator simplifies field use by calculating the device under test error and the pass/fail status, and then integrates this information with calibration management software systems such as Intecal.

The DPI 615 LP also has data storage and RS232 interface. In addition, the DPI 615 LP pressure calibrator also has two-way communication for downloading procedures and uploading results.

DPI 615 LP Portable Documenting Pressure Calibrator

The DPI 615 LP adds powerful time saving and error eliminating features to the comprehensive functionality of the DPI 610 LP. These include field error calculations with PASS/FAIL analysis and two way PC communications for downloading procedures and uploading results.

The DPI 615 LP pressure calibrator calculates errors and reports the pass/fail status during field tests. Problems and failures can be analyzed graphically for immediate assessment and correction, or, at a more convenient time and location by recalling the information from the DPI 615 LP¡¯s memory. This simple-to-use feature reduces calibration and maintenance times and eliminates human errors.

When used in conjunction with calibration management software, the DPI 615 LP pressure calibrator greatly reduces the financial and resource burden imposed by quality systems such as ISO 9000. As work orders are issued, object lists and procedures are downloaded to the DPI 615 LP. In the field, these procedures configure the pressure calibrator for the tests. The errors and pass/fail status are reported and recorded in memory (as found or as left results) for later upload to the software. Calibration certificates can then be printed and plant maintenance systems updated. The whole documenting process is completed in a fraction of the time it takes using manual systems and without human error.

The standard instrument package includes a coarse and fine volume adjuster, vent valve, auto zero equalization, carrying case, test leads, 1/8" ID hose, a manual pressure/vacuum squeeze pump, and 1/8" ID hose T connector, calibration certificate, and manual and electrical leads
